Yes, you can! There will be classes required before you are able to do so, as well as an orientation that ensures we are aware of the protocol for avoiding cross contamination and other dangers associated with potentially hazardous foods. 

Maybe.But just because you can, doesn't mean you should.


What you can cook at home is outlined by TN Cottage Food Laws. Click here for the newest law that went into effect in 2022.  


Tennessee permits food producers to prepare and sell any non-potentially hazardous food. Examples include baked goods that do not require refrigeration, jams, jellies, preserves, candy, and dried spices, fruits and vegetables.


Potentially hazardous food products that cannot be made in a home kitchen include pickled vegetables and eggs, sauces and dressings, products that contain meat or poultry, and any food that must be refrigerated.

All other foods must be prepared in a certified commercial kitchen.
